I’ve been excited to try the new CO2 vape carts from Trulieve to see how the cannabis-derived terpenes would impact the medical effects/benefits. Overall, I was pleased with the results; the cannabis-derived terpenes definitely contribute to a more “authentic” experience akin to vaping or smoking flower.
Taste: 3.5/5.0
This was what I was most curious about before I bought the cart. I haven’t tried any other products with cannabis-derived terpenes yet, so I was anxious to get my hands on some. The taste is pretty good, but not at all what I expected. It’s very earthy, a little bit herbal; honestly, the taste reminded me of Curaleaf’s Jack Herer vape cart. It’s not my favorite taste, but it is good, and I appreciate Trulieve listening to its patients and coming up with a product that uses natural terpenes. It will only improve with time.
Effects: 4.0/5.0
I don’t like to give anything a perfect score unless it really just knocks it out of the park, but I have to say I throughly enjoy the effects of this cart. It’s a balanced hybrid to me; I am currently medicated from the Sunset Sherbert cart while writing this review, and my stream of thoughts is smooth. There is definitely a warm envelope that takes over the body, especially once you get to the 2nd and 3rd three-second draws, if you dose that much. I could see this cart leaning toward indica effects at higher doses while retaining the more clear-headed cerebral buzz of sativas at lower doses. It is one of the most well-rounded hybrids I’ve tried yet. The cannabis-derived terpenes do seem to make the effects more well-rounded and closer to flower, but not significantly. For me, the effects from Truclear are almost as good. Definitely an “icing on the cake” feeling with the cannabis-derived terpenes adding to the effects. I medicate primarily for PTSD, anxiety, and depression. This strain has definitely taken the edge off of a several-day bout of depression, and also relieved muscle aches I was having related to exercise strain. Sunset Sherbert seems like a good tool to have in the bag for a variety of ailments; being a balanced hybrid, dosing can be adjusted to suit the needs of the patient. As always, your mileage may vary.
Vapor Quality: 4.5/5.0
There’s not too much to say here. The CCell carts work really nicely, and the vapor is smooth and plentiful. Not too harsh. Tastes good, makes you cough in higher doses, and gets the job done. Solid.
Overall: 4.0/5.0
The new Sunset Sherbert CO2 vape cart is a nice product. I recommend all patients try it to see how cannabis-derived terpenes make a difference in treating your conditions. This product would best be described as “good” in quality.
Trying some Sunset Sherbert right now while reading about it. Very nice! I like the convenience of using the Truelieve cartridges but quite frankly, I am having a tough time distinguishing this strain from that strain. Other than taste, I get stoned with all of them so who knows. I guess I will try them all until I can tell them apart…or I pass out. Whichever comes first. All kidding aside, I think I just like them all!

I agree with that other guy. All these strains taste the same and I can’t tell them apart. All I do know is they all taste like swamp water with an ass chaser. Why can’t they make one that tastes like Mountain Dew or at least PBR? But on the positive side, they all get me feeling like I don’t want to jump out the window or beat my roommates with a chair leg, so that can only be a good thing, right? Rock on!

I have to say swamp water with an ass chaser describes it better than my “it tastes like ass”. Thanks for the laugh and review
