MÜV has really impressed with me with most of their flower options that I’ve tried up to this point, and Florida I95 has been no exception. While I wasn’t able to find any information about this version of the I95 strain online, I assume that Florida I95 is MÜV’s in-house take on this strain.
Based on everything I’ve read about I95, Florida I95 seems to fit the description really closely – enough that I would say it can be thought of as a good substitute for patients looking for the I95 strain.

Appearance/Cure

MÜV’s T2 flower is $40 per eighth. Per their website:
Tier 1 ($50) and Tier 2 ($40) are selected based on potency, size, structure, terpene profiles and aroma. Tier 3 is based on size only.

Florida I95 is another strain I think is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, largely due to the very light green hues that are generously covered in dusty golden trichomes. Pistils are dark/burnt orange, almost getting into the brown color spectrum.
The moisture content/stickiness is very nice; the buds try to stay stuck together when broken apart – probably about the middle of the moisture spectrum. Not too dry, but not so sticky that it causes problems for my grinder: almost perfect.
The size of the buds was small-medium, but felt fair for the T2 price point. Trim is really good, and there was no shake, stems, or sugar leaves in this batch. That is always appreciated!
Appearance/Cure Rating: 6.60/10.00
Smell/Taste
Florida I95 has a very nice smell that falls into the “skunky, funky” family of dominant terpenes. However, this is not an obnoxiously strong funk as I found with MÜV’s Triangle Kush; instead, this is a sweeter, more citrusy skunk/funk smell. There also seems to be a hint of hash here as well.
When ground up, I find more of the citrus terpenes to be noticeable, but the overall smell is still very similar to the unground flower.
The taste is nice as well; both citrus and hashy notes are observable upon exhale. Overall, this is a strain that I would say has a notably good smell and taste – it will probably go down as one that I come back to in the future for this reason.
Smell/Taste Rating: 6.80/10.00
Effects/Medical Use
I find the effects of Florida I95 to be fairly well-balanced, though I would say they are still sativa-dominant. Unlike many strains in this class (where effects tend to be all or mostly cerebral at first, as body relaxation slowly fades in), Florida I95 seems to have both mind and body effects from the very beginning.
Cerebral stimulation and mild body relaxation both seem to come on fairly quickly, and actually stay pretty level throughout the duration of the effects. I say this is a sativa-dominant hybrid (in terms of effects, not plant structure) because ultimately it seems to be a strain that makes me want to move and/or be creative; it never really gets to a point of sedation.
Florida I95 is a versatile strain that I’d recommend for almost any time of the day, but patients may want a harder-hitting indica if they’re looking to treat insomnia. Florida I95 is just generally good cannabis that reminds me of some of my early experiences with the herb. Easy-going, but enough of a punch to make a person want to be active. I enjoy this one.
Possibly good for treating:
- Depression and related anxiety
- Lack of motivation
- Relief of minor aches and pains
- General relaxation and euphoria
- Relief of minor GI issues: IBS, etc.
I’m definitely no medical doctor, so please take the preceding conditions only as my own personal observations from using this strain and having experience with a multitude of different cannabis strains. Everybody is different, and every body reacts differently to various medications.
Effects Rating: 7.00/10.00
Overall Rating: 6.80/10.00
Overall, I would best describe Florida I95 as a “good, versatile” hybrid strain from MÜV.
Florida I95 is a generally good strain to have as a “middle of the road” option – it truly is balanced. For patients looking for a strain that doesn’t lean too heavily towards either side of the effects spectrum, this makes a great choice.
MÜV continues to impress me with the quality of their flower; of the 7 strains I’ve tried so far, I haven’t found a bad one yet. Let’s hope that pattern continues! (*Knocks on wood*)
Many more reviews are coming soon – especially as I find myself at home nearly 24/7 during this COVID-19 pandemic – so stay tuned!
