After hearing about the Green Crack sativa strain for so long, I finally decided to cave in and try another CO2 Vape Cart from Trulieve. I don’t buy these carts regularly because of the $55 for price tag; when you’re only getting 400mg for that price, it’s hard not to just get an 850mg syringe of Truclear and fill up a VFire pod myself for a total of less than $65. I also had my doubts about the taste of this product after trying the Sunset Sherbert CO2 vape cart; fortunately, this product tasted much better, and the effects have been very nice.
Quick Facts
Strain: Green Crack (Sativa)
THC: 82.2%
CBD: 0.4%
Batch/Harvest Number: FFOBBULPLE000003
Extracted from: Jack Herer (Again, I really don’t understand the need to label the product as another strain. If Green Crack has a lower yield, adjust to that.)
Taste:
Trulieve’s C02 vape cart products are all made with natural cannabis-derived terpenes, so I expected the taste of them to be much better than their earlier vape carts, which are cut with MCT oil and food-grade terpenes. As I mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the Sunset Sherbert vape cart had me a little bit skeptical of how well Trulieve was going to be able to implement the cannabis-derived terpenes. Sunset Sherbert had a very earthy taste (to be blunt, it tastes like fresh soil), which can be accurate for some strains; however, the implementation in that particular product did not result in the most appealing taste.
I was pleased to find that the Green Crack CO2 cart had a completely different taste. It’s very fresh and “clean” tasting, moderately sweet, with the slightest hint of an herbal/earthy taste. Overall, it’s very pleasing, and I could see it becoming an issue for patients to dose more than usual with this product for that reason. Leafly mentions the three main tastes as “earthy, citrus, and sweet”. I would have to say that sweet was the primary tase of those three, citrus is not really present at all (at least for me), and the earthy taste was very subtle.

Vapor and Product Quality
The Trulieve CO2 carts are all CCell carts with the small rubber bands of various colors to denote which strain or ratio the cart is. Airflow is exceptionally good with these carts and possibly the best in the program that I’ve yet tried. The carts may look like they aren’t full; my Trulieve always has a package insert in my bag when I buy these carts that states the appearance of any lack of product is due to the efficient absorption of the CCell carts. These carts already seem to burn pretty fast due to how well the air flows, so I’m a little cautious about fully believing this, but online research seems to indicate this is true.
The vapor on this product always makes me cough. Every time. It doesn’t matter if I take a one second drag or if I inhale for five seconds – I am going to go into a coughing fit. This is strange for me because I generally have a good tolerance to cannabis products and rarely cough; perhaps some of the terpenes in Green Crack are causing this. I don’t necessarily find coughing to be a bad thing, though, as it seems I am always more efficiently medicated afterward vs. not coughing at all.

Effects:
I’m very pleased with the effects I’ve been getting from the Green Crack CO2 cart. This strain induces a very controlled, almost calm, focus. I find that I am able to organize and categorize my thoughts very well after medicating, leading me to believe that this product would be really good for patients looking for alternative treatment for ADD and ADHD. Green Crack does not necessarily give me a significant amount of euphoria, but it does leave me feeling generally calm and at ease, which is not what I would expect based off of the strain name. I honestly don’t know why this strain is called Green Crack, unless the flower brings on different effects; Jack Herer and Sour Diesel both have given me much more racy effects than Green Crack. The only sativa in the program that I’ve found to be an even more mellow sativa would be Colombian Gold.
The focus and productivity this strain brings is outstanding, though. I primarily vape Clementine Truclear during the day to help with my depression, anxiety, and occasional ADD symptoms; after trying this Green Crack vape cart, I may have a close contender for my main daytime medication in the near future. The only superiority that I would say I find in Clementine is its euphoric qualities seem to be more notable and better for treating depression. The effects from the Green Crack CO2 vape cart are definitely top tier.

Overall Rating: 4.10/5.00
The Green Crack CO2 Vape Cart from Trulieve is a product that I would best describe as “exceptionally good”. The one thing that would make this product even better would be a price reduction down to $40 or $45; I am really hoping that victories in court trials on the unconstitutionality of the current Florida medical cannabis law will drive prices across the state downward in 2019. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend giving this product a try.
